Overview

ArriveWell provides a web-based student arrival and dismissal coordination tool used by schools and educational institutions ("Schools"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our services.

We do not sell student data. We do not use student data for advertising. We use the information we receive only to operate ArriveWell on behalf of the School.

1. Who We Are

ArriveWell is a software service that helps school staff coordinate student drop-off and pickup. The application is accessed at arrivewell.app and is provided under a written service agreement with each School.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the service.

Student Information (provided by the School)

• First and last name (or first name and last initial, at the School's discretion)
• Classroom assignment
• Vehicle information associated with authorized pick-up (color, make, and type)

• Name and email address for zone manager and classroom accounts
• Role assignment

• Student arrival and dismissal status records, including timestamps
• Daily log of status changes

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Display student arrival and dismissal status to authorized school staff
• Coordinate communication between carline attendants and classroom staff
• Maintain an audit log of daily activity for the School's records
• Send account-related emails (e.g., password reset)

4. FERPA Compliance

ArriveWell is designed to operate in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). In using ArriveWell, the School acts as the data controller and ArriveWell acts as a service provider acting under the School's direction.

• The School retains ownership of all student data at all times.
• ArriveWell will not disclose student data to any third party without the School's written authorization, except as required by law.
• ArriveWell uses student data only as directed by the School and only for the purpose of operating the service.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share student data with third parties for their own purposes. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers necessary to operate the application (e.g., our cloud database provider, which operates under strict data processing terms)
• As required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or government request
• With the School's explicit written consent

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we store, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security controls that restrict each user's access to their own authorized data, and access limited to authenticated, role-based accounts.

7. Data Retention

Student and staff data is retained for the duration of the School's active service agreement. Upon termination, the School may export their data within 30 days. After 30 days, ArriveWell will permanently delete the School's data. Daily status logs are automatically cleared each night as part of normal operation.

8. Children's Privacy

ArriveWell is not a consumer application and is not directed at children. The application is used exclusively by school staff. Student information is provided by and managed by the School. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from students.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Schools of material changes by email or through the application at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
